Ok, so if you follow me at all, or if you’ve done a deep dive into my blog you know that I shoot Bodega Ridge Weddings a lot (here’s my most popular one), and even after all of those weddings I still never get tired of this venue. And even better than the venue itself are all of the vastly different styles of weddings that I’ve photographed there. I’ve had everything from two-person elopements (where yes, I was a witness) to massive multi-day bashes. But Julia and Nick’s wedding on Galiano Island was so filled with thoughtful details and surprises that it currently sits at one of my top 3 Bodega Ridge weddings.
Now, I don’t know if Julia and Nick just have impeccable style all the time (of course they do, they live in New York and both work in advertising), or if they just pulled out all the stops for their wedding, but this was definitely one for the books. There were Clydesdale horses on hand for guests to mingle with (and take selfies with) during cocktail hour, incredible florals by Beg Florals, a dachshund in a tuxedo, a beautiful photo station for guest portraits… it all culminated into such a fun weekend that all of the guests were ooooh-ing over with every new treat that Julia and Nick had planned for them.
Of course, no wedding with this much going on can come together without a little help, and the team at Rock Paper Square were on hand all weekend to ensure that every detail was taken care of, and the team Bodega Ridge kept all of us wayyyyy over fed with the best wedding venue food of all time. Big thank you to all of the vendors that made this day absolutely epic.
