When Jaclyn and Paul first came to me with their plans for a winter wedding at Loft at Earls Yaletown I automatically thought “rain”. We are going to have rain. Definitely. Without a doubt. But as all Vancouverites know the weather here is not something you can predict, especially in February. And guess what? A week after record snowfalls all throughout the Lower Mainland we woke up on their wedding day to bright, beaming, beautiful winter sunshine. I did an actual happy dance. I’m still doing that same happy dance as I look through the photos from their amazing day.
One of the great things about photographing weddings at Loft at Earls is that the room already has so much character that it truly needs so little added to it. But when you get it filled it light it is an absolutely magical location for all aspects of your day. I had a lot of fun creating super unique portraits alongside my super talented second shooter Lindsay Elliott and venturing outside for some summer-like alleyway photos with their whole clan.
Jaclyn and Paul are such a sweet, fun couple that absolutely beam at each other and I feel so thankful to have been part of this intimate day. Thank you guys so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer! And thank you so much for bringing the sunshine! xoxo
PS, if you’re planning a wedding at Loft at Earls soon make sure to check out the vendor list below. Jaclyn and Paul chose an amazing team of vendors and the day would not have been the same without each one of them!
